Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the upgraded version of its most popular Bajaj Chetak electric scooter on December 20. There will be many new updates, such as a new design, better battery under the floorboard and better performance.

The new Chetak model will get up to 22 liters of storage under the seat, which makes it even more useful. While keeping the classic design of the Chetak intact, it has also undergone some design changes. These changes will make the scooter look even better. The new Chetak will also have a more powerful battery.
LED lights for better visibility, telescopic front suspension for a comfortable ride and alloy wheels are provided. It also has a waterproof IP67 rated battery and an improved braking system. It will get modern features like color TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, music control, call alerts, and customizable themes. Features such as Bluetooth, hill hold control and follow-me-home lighting are also provided.

The new Bajaj Chetak EV will take on popular electric scooters like the Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro. The present Bajaj Chetak gives a range of 136 km on a charge and take top speed up to 72 km/h. Its three variants – Chetak 2903, Chetak 3202 and Chetak 3201 – are priced between Rs. 95,998 to Rs.1,27,244.
This model of Bajaj chetak EV has many ranges. These updates will make it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market. The new Chetak will be priced at around ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom), which is around the price of the current model. There are three variants of the Chetak available, priced from ₹96,000 to ₹1.29 lakh. It also gets premium features such as rearview mirrors, satin-black grab rails, pillion footrests and black headlamp casings.
